Easter Monday evening: The Third Fall
The Passion is tonight heralded by the martial rhythm of the trumpets and drums. The standing cross, made of earthen yokes, binds the memories of the brotherhood of Jesus in his Third Fall to the common mother which is Zamora. An ingenious crown of thorns forged from ploughshares awakes our feelings of forgiveness and oblivion which the miseries of civil war fought between brothers buried. This brotherhood, founded in 1942 by a group of local people from Zamora who participated in the civil war, files by tonight with candles of peace and light in their hands.
