Easter Saturday evening: The Solitude
With the mantle of a widowed mother and the mourning present in her whole body, the sculpture of the Solitude fills the night of Easter Saturday.
The Solitude is the crowning masterpiece of the sculptor Ramón Álvarez, to which a large part of his popularity is due in Holy Week. With this figure of the woman and mother, the humble artist from Zamora, successfully captured and perfectly denied the very nature and essence of solitude.
